Ongoing Conservation Science & Research Collaborations

Anthropobiologie et Développement Durable, University of Antananarivo

The Anthropobiologie et Développement Durable (ADD) at the University of Antananarivo is considered the “birthplace of Malagasy primatologists”, but its mission is much broader than just academic primatology. The primary mission of ADD is to have students address the question, “What can you contribute to developing your country while studying within this department with this diploma?”  Secondly, the ADD works to change the behavior of local communities by fostering relationships between communities and university students while continuing collaborations with many NGOs and developing new relationships with domestic and foreign partners.
